The “New Testament” was really entitled The Testimony of Yeshua by John in the Book of Revelation, and it was really originally written in Aramaic, with one or possibly two of the Books also written in Hebrew, a close variant of Aramaic. So your “New Testament” should be a translation from Aramaic. Read the online Book: Was the New Testament Really Written in Greek? There is far more detail on why I created this new Bible Bible in the INTRO to The Testimony of Yeshua (Jesus).
Revelation 1:2 He was a witness to the Word of Aloha [God] and to the Testimony of Yeshua Messiah [Jesus] about everything he saw.
Revelation 1:9 I John, your Friend and your partner in the tribulation and suffering that are ours in Yeshua Messiah, was on the island called Patmos, because of the Word of Aloha and the Testimony of Yeshua Messiah.
Revelation 20:4 I saw thrones, and those who were seated on them, and judicial authority was given to them, and I saw the bodies of those who were beheaded for THE TESTIMONY OF YESHUA [the ‘NT’] and for THE WORD OF ALOHA [the ‘OT’]. These are the ones who hadn’t worshiped the predatory beast or his icon, nor had they accepted his mark on their forehead or on their hand. They lived and reigned with their Messiah during those thousand years.—Gabriel Bible
The “Old Testament”, as seen from those same verses, was really entitled The Word of Elohim (Aloha), better known as The Word of God, or the Scriptures. These are the designations that John wrote when he finished the “cannonization” of what later became known as the Bible. Two of the major reasons why I am creating this copyright free version of the Bible is that God’s name Yehovah was deleted well over 6000 times from every English Bible in existence. In fact His name was so little known in 2004 that there was not a single article on the internet declaring or explaining the name Yehovah until I put mine there. Google provided 0 hits. In February of 2019 there were about 427,000 listings on Google. A second major reason for the existence of this new version is that there are no truly modern English versions available without copyright restrictions that legalally limit your use of the text! So the Gabriel Bible is not Copyright protected, it is creative Commons:
